Gift card FAQ
How does it work?
Choose a gift card value and check out like any other product. Shopify creates a unique digital gift card code and delivers it by email. No physical card is mailed.
Can I send it directly to someone?
Yes. Select Send this directly to someone, then add the recipient's email, name, optional message, and delivery date. You can send it immediately or schedule it for later.
How do they use it?
Enter the gift card code at checkout on strayproject.com. If the order costs more than the remaining balance, the rest can be paid with another payment method.
Can it be used more than once?
Yes. The same code can be used across multiple orders until the balance reaches $0. Any unused balance stays on the gift card.
How do I check the balance?
Open the original gift card email and select the link to view the card. The current balance appears on that page. No customer account is required. If the email is lost, contact hello@strayproject.com and we'll help locate or resend it.
Does it expire?
No. Stray Project gift cards do not expire.
Does a gift card fund shelter meals?
Yes. Every Stray Project gift card purchased funds 20 shelter-dog meals. When the gift card is later used on Stray products, those items fund their own 20 meals each too.
